Sayonara!

I won't go anywhere tomorrow, so in other words, it's my last day in Japan.

I spent all day in Kamakura, which is another place with a Japanese traditional style. Sometimes I wonder if the so-called traditional style is something that can bring you peace. I visited the Great Buddha, wandered through the streets and shops but most of the time I was sitting in the Hasedera Temple enjoying the sunshine that Tokyo lacks.

I have to get back to packing, I am upset that my backpack is so small… not pigments and books only, Shiseido took most of the space, I just couldn’t resist the temptation of it, newer and much cheaper than in Beijing… I am such a … woman…

On my first day in Japan, I thought I would forget I had been here, like I often forget where I've been. On the last day, I figure I will miss Japan, although still, nothing surprised me, except I was quite excited when I bought a bunch of cool books, but now I doubt it was just because they were like Shiseido, newer and much cheaper than in Beijing.

Took some photos in Kamakura, hope you enjoy them.

  1. My first feeling was "that's it? "

  2. To tell the truth, I prefer to look at this kid who was near the Great Buddha and concentrating on his food with a serious look.

  3. Candles for praying in Hasedera Temple

  4. I guess this is mum and son, when the son took photos for her, she smiled and was a little shy, but her smile was really good, I just looked at it and wouldn’t like to capture it in case I would bother her; such a bright orange color is so rare in Tokyo.

  5. Hey, Quill!

  6. It is said every statue of buddha represents an aborted child.

  7. I don’t know how you say that in English, but I really like this four characters, a little, just a little like cuijian's Start Over,我想离开,我想存在,我想死新

  8. Kamakura station
